Contemporary 21st Century pair of contemporary floor lamps, known as the ‘Hedgehog’ lamps, distinguished by their highly textural woven reed shades. The reeds are intricately interlaced and folded to create a distinctive raised, spiked surface, giving the lamps their characteristic hedgehog like appearance. Each lamp has an elegant elongated, gently tapering form, widening through the centre before narrowing towards the top and base, raised on circular white bases. Both decorative and functional, these lamps have a strong organic, almost architectural quality and would make an impressive statement in a contemporary or eclectic interior.
