Antique 20th Century English hall lantern, constructed in solid brass and retaining a beautiful naturally aged patina. The rectangular lantern is enclosed by decorative cut glass panels, each carefully worked to catch and refract the light, creating a particularly attractive play of prisms and reflections when illuminated. The glass is held within a substantial brass framework, detailed with classical ornament and suspended from slender brass supports beneath the chain and ceiling rose. Equally suited to an entrance hall, stairwell or other classic interior.
