VINTAGE 20thC BRASS, CHROME & GLASS "N" TABLE BY BELGO CHROM, BELGIUM c.1970
Reference Number: Z12414
A stylish "N" table by Belgo Chrom, Belgium, dating to the 1970s. Renowned for their sophisticated use of metal and glass, Belgo Chrom became one of the leading European manufacturers of luxury modern furniture during the period, producing pieces that combined architectural simplicity with high-quality materials.
The table features a smoked glass top set within a finely crafted brass frame. "N" shaped supports create a crisp geometric form that is both elegant and understated. The warm metallic finish contrasts beautifully with the dark glass, resulting in a refined aesthetic characteristic of 1970s Belgian design.
Belgo Chrom furniture is particularly admired for its ability to balance glamour with restraint, and this example demonstrates that philosophy perfectly. The clean lines and carefully considered proportions allow the quality of the materials and craftsmanship to take centre stage, making the table equally suited to modern and traditional interiors.
Its generous rectangular form makes it ideal as a centre table, while the combination of brass and smoked glass ensures it remains a timeless and versatile piece of mid-century design.
