A superb vintage mid 20th Century Osvaldo Borsani lounge chair and footstool model no. p40, produced in Italy by Tecno 1955. This lounge chair was created by Osvaldo Borsani to be the perfect lounge chair that occupied the same space as an arm chair and yet offered all the comfort of the recliner, it became the best known exemplary piece in the Tecno catalogue. This recliner and footstool have a black metal frame with brass buttons to recline and have been upholstered in black tipped Icelandic longhair sheepskin. A truly stunning piece of inspirational furniture.
