Vintage 20th Century desk model of a four-engined Boeing 377 Stratocruiser passenger aircraft, made in polished white metal and raised on a faceted pedestal base. The model captures the distinctive form of this iconic post-war airliner, with its broad, double-deck fuselage, sweeping wings, four detailed engine nacelles and finely modelled tail assembly. The polished surface gives the piece a striking sculptural quality, emphasising the imposing proportions and elegant lines of the aircraft. These models were produced as presentation pieces or executive desk ornaments for the aviation industry.
