Antique 19th Century Victorian malachite book shaped box with natural mineral samples. When the box is opened it reveales thirty two natural samples, each fitting into their own compartment which is lined in red velvet. The samples include granite, chrysocolla, pyrite (known as fools gold), and many other natural samples. Such a box is exceptionally rare, particularly considering its sizeable dimensions and contents.
