Antique 20th Century Scottish solid silver desk clock and inkwell by Hamilton & Inches. The inkwell is formed with a heavy, smoothly curved glass body, topped by a silver lid which incorporates a removable clock. The clock has a Roman numeral dial, a subsidiary seconds dial and an eight-day movement. Both practical and decorative, it makes a fine desk accessory.
Hallmarked Scottish silver (925 standard), Edinburgh, year 1903 (r), Maker's mark H&I (Hamilton & Inches).
