Trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and the Politecnico di Milano, Borsani combined technical precision with elegant, functional design. In 1953, he co-founded Tecno, a company that became synonymous with innovative, beautifully engineered furniture for both domestic and commercial spaces. His work often blended high-quality materials like marble, wood, and metal with clever mechanical detailing, and he is particularly admired for designs such as the P40 adjustable lounge chair and a range of sleek tables and storage pieces. Borsani’s creations remain highly sought after, representing the sophistication of mid-century Italian design.
