Antique 19th Century English mahogany pharmaceutical cabinet, with sloping hinged fall, four full width graduated drawers, glass fronted. This tall slim bureau bookcase has its original handles and lock with key, circa 1860. Beautiful pieces of period furniture, later painted with various pharmacy related advertising and compartments for various ailments, perfumeries and accessories, a very practical and a truly wonderful conversation piece capable of transporting the imagination to a bygone era.
