An antique early 20th Century British Royal Air Force FE8 fighter aircraft propeller, manufactured by Darracq for the Royal Aircraft Factory. The FE8 was a single-seat British fighter used during the First World War. This lightweight wooden propeller features brass-tipped blades and a highly polished central hub, and is fitted with a fixing for wall mounting.

Darracq & Co, a British-French motorcar manufacturer, produced these propellers in England between 1915 and 1916 for His Majesty’s Government, as recorded on the original label.
