A beautiful, Georgian, rosewood box of water colours and art supplies, by R Akermann of 191 Regent Street, by Royal Appointment to Queen Charlotte, and the Royal Family. Akerman took premises at 191 Regent St in 1825 and left in 1843 which gives us an approximate date inbetween these years for the sale of this pretty two tiered box with brass fittings. Comprising of twentyfour Supertine water colour blocks, several porcelain palettes and a rare porcelain brush rest. There are also bottles of early Ninteenth Century Ink, including Rowney's "Ox Gall" Ink.
